And as she listened, she listened to the message, which had been left by the secretary of Steve Reggie's of WLUX.

The message said they would like to do a taped interview, and they would run it tomorrow on his early morning show.

Jennifer squealed, "Ah come on Cath. A taped interview! It can't get any easier than that, and it sounds really fun! Can we? You said Vinny said it would be all right!"

Thinking back on Vincent's initial objections, Catherine remembered his main concern was against her doing any visual type interviews. So she reconciled that of all the offers, this one is the safest.

As she looked at Jennifer's pleading look, she caved and said, "All right Jen. Let's call Steve Reggie back and tell him we will do it, but remember I don't want to be long. I am anxious to go back home."

Jennifer happily said, "Oh this will be so exciting!"

As the girls packed a few more boxes up, they relaxed a bit before heading to the radio station.

Sipping their tea and munching a pecan sandy or two, Jennifer hesitantly asked Catherine, what it meant to her seeing Elliot again.

Thoughtfully, she explained, "It is complicated. I felt so many things, and as I spoke to him, and looked into his eyes, I could sense a change in him."

Clarifying, Jennifer worriedly asked, "It doesn't change how you feel about Vincent though...right?"

Catherine shook her head no, and said, unwaveringly, "No Jen, nothing could change that."

She wanted to tell Jennifer, not even death could sever her connection with Vincent, as their love goes far beyond this life. However she thought that may be a little too intense for Jennifer, so simply she assured her by saying, "I love Vincent, and I always will."

Jennifer heaved a relieved sigh, and said, "Oh good, because I don't think Vinny could take it if you would break up with him! I really don't!"

Catherine hated this line of thought, knowing Vincent would be able to pick up on any such questioning type emotions. So cheerfully Catherine changed the subject by saying, "Let's take these boxes down to the basement where I can lower them down to the tunnels. The rest, the movers can pick up in the morning and place in storage for me. By Friday Dear Jennifer, I think you will be all clear to move in!"

Jennifer excitedly said, "I cannot wait! I will line up my moving guys for Friday then. I am so happy! It seems like things are finally looking up for me! Let's take stock...shall we?"

Demonstrating by counting on her fingers, she continued, "First of all, things with Ronny are progressing, Second, I get to move in here, and Third, I am going back to school! Ahh life is great!"

Catherine let go of a subtle little giggle, and agreed, saying, "Oh yes it is Jen!"

Meanwhile, Vincent and Ronald were busily working, when Peter stepped to the threshold, and said, "Hello Gentlemen, Cathy told me you two would be here working! Well, I am here to roll up my sleeves, and do some grunt work too."

Vincent wondered how Catherine could know, and inquired, "Catherine told you Peter?"

He nodded and said when he had talked to Catherine on the phone this afternoon about her rescheduled appointment, she said Lisa had told her the news.

Ronald smiled and surmised, "The girls must have crossed paths in the city this afternoon then uh?"

In reply, Peter said they had, and also relayed she is hoping to be completely moved out of her apartment by tomorrow.

Vincent was elated to hear Catherine's total move below was imminent. And after Peter asked, what he could do to help, a bolstered Vincent replied, "What do you say we have Peter help us here with this bracing?"

Ronald nodded in agreement, and the three men, did some reinforcing, and other basic repairs to the chamber, when they sat down for a moment to rest.

Just then Mary came into the chamber bearing some refreshments. She had some fresh cool water along with some leftover Gingerbread that William had baked for their lunch.

Mary charmingly said, "Oh Peter, I had no idea you were here below visiting. What a pleasant surprise!"

Peter stood as he greeted Mary, and said, "Yes, well I figured I better donate a little elbow grease, since it is going to be my Chamber!"

As they all sat talking, the conversation shifted to the pictures, Vincent had found of him and Anna when he was a baby, to which Mary ecstatically expounded she would love to see the pictures.

As Vincent retrieved the pictures from the locked desk drawer, in the renovation chamber, Jacob too came to check on the progress of Peter's chamber.

Jacob in a jesting fashion asked, "A party? And no invitation extended to the OLE stick-in-the-mud?"

Peter jokingly replied, "Darn, you found out anyway! What do you have radar?"

Mary sticking up for Jacob said, "Oh Father, you could never be referred to as a stick-in-the-mud! You are always full of gaiety at all of our celebrations!"

Jacob blushed, as he said, "Thank you Mary, I do try to let my hair down when it is time to celebrate. And I have been known to perhaps, celebrate too much a time or two!"

Peter pursed his lips to the side, and asked, "Are you referring to the Medical convention of 1949? Because that was the last time I saw you soused my friend!"

Jacob replied, "Then you must party-on with me more often Peter! It seems you don't know as much about me, as you think!"

Vincent then re-entered the chamber, and was happy Jacob was there too, as he had not had the chance to show him the pictures yet.

He acknowledged his Father, and said, "These are the pictures I told you about. The pictures Peter had secretly taken for Anna."

Everyone gathered around both Vincent, and Jacob, as he firstly handed the pictures to him so he could respectfully have the first look, at these newly discovered photos.

They all looked over Jacob's shoulder, and Peter who stood humbly in the back, peered over to have a look too.

Reflectively he remembered the day the picture of Anna, and Vincent together, had been taken. Softly he said, "I never saw Anna happier than she was at that moment."

As they looked on these pictures, as the true treasure they were, and marveled at their existence. For without Peter's bravery of taking them, they would not exist!

Jacob turned to his friend, and tearfully said, "Peter these pictures, are magnificent. I nearly had forgotten how beautiful both Vincent, and Anna were...back then."

A sad silent gloom befell the chamber, as they all, with the exception of Mary, and Ronald, had their own individual reasons to mourn Anna.

The discussion then focused on Vincent's suspicions, of Anna being slowly poisoned by Paracelsus, and they all agreed that was indeed a viable possibility.

All the different scenarios were discussed, and as the hour grew late, they agreed to walk back to the main tunnels together, and convinced Peter to stay below, to sup with them.

Unbeknownst to everyone, their conversation had been overheard by one of Paracelsus's clones, who hurried back to report to him, what he had heard.

Meanwhile, As Catherine, and Jennifer exited the WULX interview, they went their separate ways. And after a heartfelt hug, Catherine reminded Jennifer to look over her shoulder, and to be careful.

Jennifer said she would, and again, thanked her pal for doing the interview for her, because she thought it was so much fun!

Catherine laughed, and said, she was welcome, and remarked that Jennifer, had been quite entertaining during the interview!

Jennifer the Hambone, took a bow, and then sincerely asked Catherine, to send her regards on to Ronny, and to tell him, she hoped to see him soon. Hint...hint!

The two laughed, and Catherine said, she would relay her message, but will be a little subtler than that!

Catherine returned to her apartment, and began to get ready for tonight. She couldn't wait to see Vincent, and she wanted to look really nice for him. She wore her white v-neck dress, which really showed off the necklace he had given her. After brushing and styling her hair, she was then ready to meet Vincent.

Catherine thought she had better leave a light on since she would be returning there to sleep. It would be her last night in her apartment.

Meanwhile, after a delicious supper, and visiting a bit, Peter said he had to goodnight, but added he would be back tomorrow afternoon, to do some more work in his chamber.

Ronald then informed him, because of the fact, Mouse has him exclusively assigned to his chamber restoration detail, he would see him there!

They all bade Peter a good evening, and then Vincent headed for the entrance to Catherine's apartment, as it was nearly time for her to arrive. He was most anxious to share this special performance of Beethoven's works with her, in their own private box seat.

As Catherine came down the ladder, she turned around finding Vincent there, waiting for her.

He was motionless, as he stood looking at her, and Catherine stood too, for she was always taken aback for just a moment, until she could rationalize, this was not a dream, this beautiful brilliant man was real, and he had chosen her to love.

Softly, she said, "I have missed you so much..."

Stepping up to her, he took Catherine in his arms, and savored the initial moment of being near her again.

Catherine looked up at this tall, sovereign man, as he offered his hand, and elegantly asked, "Shall we Catherine?"

Slipping her hand into his, she mirrored his elegance, as she said, "Yes Vincent."

The concert was wonderful, and as they listened to the Moonlight Sonata, Catherine settled into Vincent's arms. They intently listened, all the way through, until the concert concluded. Contentedly, they sat for a little while, and told each other about their perspective days.

Catherine gently informed Vincent, she had to sleep above tonight, as the movers are going to come at 7:00 a.m. in the morning.

Vincent tipped his head as he assuredly said, "I will meet you there tonight Catherine, to make sure you are safe."

Excitedly Catherine said, "Yes Vincent, that would be perfect. It will be our last night alone on our balcony."
