Here you will see
Vincent's wedding gift to Catherine,
Their Enchanting Honeymoon Chamber,
and a romantic little corner for their
Honeymoon Picnic Alcove
And so Vincent took Catherine into his arms, and with love, he held her,
conveying his undying affection toward her for the billionth time...

Contentedly looking back at the mural of New York City, she in an awing tone,
told Vincent, "Well, not only do I love your referring to the tunnels as "our"
world now, but I love the fact you created a new balcony for us to visit, and at
its very inception, we can call it ours."

Feeling very proud and fulfilled that his gift pleased Catherine, Vincent now
hoped, his next surprise would please her too. Taking her hand in his, he asked
her, "Walk with me..."

Catherine held onto his hand as intently, as he lead the way to their destination.

He then stopped at the entrance of the cozy little crag alcove, which he had
chosen to be their Honeymoon Haven.

Lowering his eyes for a moment, before looking at Catherine, he told her,
"Though we have not based our world on tradition, there are some traditions too
lovely to dismiss."

With that said, he lifted Catherine in his arms, and stood motionless for a
moment, as he was beguiled, by her engaging natural beauty.

Sweetly laying her head upon his shoulder, feeling his thoughts as her own, she
cuddled snugly to him, as he carried her over the threshold.

As he set her down, she looked around, amazed by the ambiance he provided
for her on their special night. With astonishment, she continued to look around
taking in all the flowers, burning candles, and mounds of soft satin pillows that
decorated this enchanting little chamber. Truly, she declared, she had never
been surrounded by such sweet loveliness like this ever before in her life!

Walking up to their bed, she cried softly as she said, "I remember helping you
prepare a romantic chamber like this for Kanin, and Olivia..."

Vincent walked softly, as he came up behind her, and said, "I saw your tears
that day, and I pondered their full meaning."

Catherine lowered her head, as she explained, "I cried because it wasn't ours."

Taking in a deep breath, she turned around, and sweetly said, "Well, but here
we are...so clearly there is no longer a reason for any more tears..."

Holding her closely to him, he softly replied she was right, there was no need
for tears.

Catherine closed her eyes as she stood in his arms, both bathed in the light from
the multitude of candles, deep within the tunnels, in their own little world.

Later as they were snuggled together, Vincent asked, "Catherine? Are you
falling asleep?"

To which she dreamily said, "No...not sleeping, just adrift..

She then stirred enough to ask, "Why? Are you sleepy?"

Vincent shook his head no, he was not tired, but ravenous! He then asked
Catherine if she would like something to eat as well.

Answering she was hungry too, Vincent happily told her that Olivia and Rebecca
informed him earlier, there would be a well stocked picnic basket within their
Honeymoon chamber awaiting them.

Mischievously, Vincent said, "Now all we must do, is locate it!"

Catherine watched her husband, go in search of their provisions. After finding
what he sought, he looked over at Catherine and asked, "Shall I join you there,
or will you join me here?"

Seeing the lovely place setting, she volunteered, "I will join you...it looks as if
the girls went to a lot of trouble for us."

She gracefully slipped on her white silk robe, and had just finished tying the belt
by the time she joined Vincent at his side. Looking down at the table, Catherine
told him how lovely she thought  this romantic corner of their chamber was, and
admired how meticulously they prepared it for them.

Vincent agreed, and then offered Catherine a seat. Accepting his invitation to sit
down, she saw a single red rose waiting for her on her chair. Picking up the
perfect long stemmed flower, she sighed, "Oh my...thank you..."

Nodding, he graciously replied, "You are most welcome."

Sitting together at the table, Vincent poured the cider, as Catherine sifted
through the cute heart shaped picnic basket, which was a gift from Rosa.
Excitedly, Catherine said, "Hmm, here's some chicken Vincent, oh, and some
crescent rolls and a pie too! Hmmm, everything looks so good."

Pleased his friends served them well, he replied it was a feast, fit for royalty.

To which Catherine playfully said, "I quite agree sire."

Vincent then sat down cozily next to Catherine...and as they raised their glasses
to one another, Vincent toasted, "To you Catherine...and to our life together."

She then raised her glass, and began to toast her husband, saying, "To you
Vincent, the man who has shown me what life can bring, if you trust your heart
enough to follow it, and..."

Catherine then began to cry, making it difficult to continue on with her portion
of the toast. Vincent held her, and tenderly asked what was wrong.

She said she couldn't explain why she was crying. She can only decipher her
emotional tears as a release of sorts, expressing how happy she was.

Vincent tried to hide his amusement as she spoke, but in truth, he found
Catherine so cute when she revealed her womanly emotions to him. And even
though all of these marital relationship type issues were new and foreign to him,
he handled the situation like a pro. He knew not to give advice, but rather to just
listen as his wife talked.

Vincent continued to be attentively quiet as Catherine revealed to him, she
would dream sometimes, and in her dreams their wedding day would never
come...it was always thwarted by tragedy.

Hearing how Catherine had been really bothered by these dreams, Vincent
turned more serious as he assured her, those were only dreams, and dreams are
a way for us to live out, either our deepest fears, or experience our greatest
desires.

Sadly smiling, Catherine said, she knew he was right, but still, until this moment
arrived, she was fearful something was going to happen, that would keep them
apart.

Vincent brought Catherine up on his lap, and after kissing away her tears, he
reminded her of a talk they had a while ago. So he told her again, " Should
something ever happen to either one of us, fear not...because of our bond, we
are united for all eternity...nothing is powerful enough to ever separate your
heart from mine...nothing."

He then looked at her, as a parent might look at their disbelieving child, and
asked, "Do you believe me when I tell you this Catherine?"

Nodding, she said she did believe him, but just sometimes, she feared her life
with him was too good to be true. She then hugged him tightly, wanting to meld
into him, if only there was a way possible...she would.

He lovingly returned her impassioned embrace, as she urgently whispered to
him, "Tighter Vincent...hold me tighter."

So tenderly, by the light of the flickering candlelight, in this secluded little
chamber, deep within the tunnels, that teetered on the edge of the crags, Vincent
protectively held his Catherine...his wife, for as long as she wanted and needed
him to.
